The staff were super friendly and welcoming. The view is also gorgeous over the lake and the old quarter! I loved to spend sometime in Diamond Sky bar.
I think it is the best place to go out in Hanoi. The food and drinks are good with reasonable prices. Live music, beautiful decoration, amazing views; but the best of the best is the excellent You both are amazing!

Having visited this bar at the beginning of November , and enjoyed the ambiance and wonderful cuisine, we decided to go here again before we finally left Vietnam, and Hanoi especially..
Rooftop bar, with views in many directions over Hanoi.. One part is in the The cuisine is genuinely good.. The staff are also very caring and genuinely friendly and attentive..
They also have a good drinks selection, from. The cocktails are nice too.. This isnt the cheapest place to eat in Hanoi, but for what you receive in find dining, ambience and quality through out your evening, ask yourself what you would pay in your own country for the same romantic evening..
We will absolutely return when we are in Hanoi again And one thing that my wife and myself really liked was the staff who served us before, recognised us and not only welcomed us back, but humbly thanked us for coming back..
A wonderful moment.. We went on a quiet week night in early December and had our outdoor dining section to ourselves.
The views were exceptional, the drinks outstanding, the food scrumptious and the staff delightful. In fact One word of caution - while we were partially protected by glass balcony screens, the breeze could still bite.
Fortunately we had anticipated this, but just be aware the temp on the 12th? Excellent value for money - highly recommended.
We are a family of 4 2 daughters 9 yrs and 17 yrs. We wanted to have a special dinner Hanoi as we were spending only 1 evening there.
After going through TA reviews, shortlisted this place. Made a reservation request through their website It took couple of days for me to chase them on their chat option on the website.
Finally they sent in a mail confirming the reservation. When we reached there our reservation could not be identified.
But irrespective they went on to give us a table. Later they clarified to us that the reservation was inadvertently made for the restaurant and that's why it was not reflecting for the Sky Bar.
So, my advise to everyone would be please clarify whether you want the reservation for the sky bar or for the restaurant.
Anyways, post the small hiccups on the reservation front, we were given the option to sit at level 1 of the sky bar or go up to another higher level.
Yes, there are 2 levels for the sky bar. So, the higher level looked very enticing so we went up and chose a place for 4 sitting which had sofas.
The upper deck level had nobody else and there were quite a few tables. Also, it was windy and cold upstairs.
So, we were kind of deliberating what to do but were almost getting ready to sit down, when this man Eric came to our rescue. From there on it was Eric all the way who did everything right to make this a very special evening for us.
Eric advised us not to sit on the upper deck because it was cold. He advised that we should sit on Level 1 itself and he took us down to a nice table and arranged for 4 chairs around it.
And then he noticed that we had kids, so he told us that he will give us shawls to protect ourselves from the cold and windy conditions. We were like wow!!
Shawls being given to customers!! Indeed he got us 4 shawls and we were so thankful to him because the shawls were very handy in protecting us from the cold.
And this was a crucial factor in us enjoying the rest of the evening. We were then serviced by Eric and another girl sorry, don't remember her name.
Here is what we ordered. They have a happy hour scheme of 1 glass of wine free with 2 glasses of wine. Though the happy hour time was over, they were kind enough to extent us the deal.
My daughter ordered the Rooftop Delight mocktail. For starters we ordered Hanoi Crispy Spring Rolls.
For our younger daughter we ordered Spaghetti with Tomato Sauce. Later I also ordered a Lime Leaf Wheat beer. For dessert we were recommended the Cream Brulee and also we read in many TA reviews that this was good.
Well, each and every item was just too good. Very tasty. And the quantity was perfect for our family of 4. The total bill came VND 1.
Some could say this is expensive. But trust me it is worth it. The food, the ambiance, everything was superb.

It is quite a popular place. Since we were on Grab e-hailing we could get down right in front of the hotel. So, please wear appropriate clothes. Legs should definitely be covered and you should have good jackets which can be zipped up.
Yes, the team up there will give you shawls which is an amazing offering and saved our lives from the cold weather: as we never expected Hanoi to be this cold and had only carried light jackets.
There is no dress code here. They also have sofas in the upper deck. But, we did not like them much as the tables are low level in between the sofa seating.
So, you have to keep bending to have your food and drinks. It is ok if you are just having drinks. But, if you go for dinner then it can be inconvenient.
You can sit and talk without problems. It is quite ok to take family with kids. They will also make kids very comfortable. Everyone in our family enjoyed every moment we spent here.
It is awesome. It is standard view of the city of Hanoi. But, it is the overall ambiance that makes this place really special.
